MK Amichai Chikli commented on the security situation in a post on his Twitter account on Sunday night.

"As a teen in Jerusalem, I experienced difficult times during the attacks of the late 1990s and also as a soldier in the Second Intifada, and I still do not remember such a feeling of laxity and lack of leadership."

"An anemic Defense Minister who concentrates on Homesh and TikTok, a weak and detached Prime Minister who is preoccupied with his personal survival, a Public Security Minister that it is very doubtful whether he is mentally fit to perform his job, and an Alternate [Prime Minister] whose whereabouts are unknown. The people of Israel deserve better than that," Chikli said.
