Chairman of the Religious Zionism party, MK Bezalel Smotrich, reacted to the capture of the two terrorists who carried out the Independence Day attack in Elad.
"Congratulations to the security forces on the capture of the terrorists who carried out the horrific attack in Elad," wrote Smotrich. "Capturing them alive once again sharpens the need for additional means of deterrence that include harsher jail conditions, immediate demolition of [terrorists'] homes, and deportation of [their] families."
"As a first step, the coalition must support my fellow MK Orit Struck's bill [seeking to implement harsher jail conditions] for terrorists," he added.
