Israel has told Ukraine that it is ready to assist in resolving the humanitarian crisis in the country, according to a Reshet Bet report.
According to the report, following Israeli assistance in the evacuation effort of civilians from Mariupol, Minister Ze'ev Elkin conveyed to Ukrainian officials that if there were situations Israel could assist on humanitarian issues, it would happily oblige, adding that such efforts would focus on reducing civilian suffering .
It was also reported according to assessments by both Israel and the West, the chances of reaching a ceasefire and a comprehensive agreement between Ukraine and Russia are almost non-existent.
Therefore, international mediation will focus on providing humanitarian assistance.
