The mayor of Lod, Yair Revivo, paid tribute on his Facebook page to Oren Ben Yiftach, a resident of the city who was murdered in the terrorist attack in Elad.
“A heavy disaster befell the city of Lod tonight. Oren Ben Yiftach, a 35-year-old resident of the city, a father of six children, was killed in the criminal attack in Elad. The heart is broken to pieces in the family that has been plagued in recent years by many disasters. We are now accompanying the family through the unbearably difficult time,” he wrote.
