Prime Minister Naftali Bennett on Thursday night held a security consultation with the participation of the Minister of Defense, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Minister of Public Security, the Commissioner of the Israel Police, the head of the Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet), the Chief of Staff, the head of the Mossad and other senior officials.
During the consultation, the chain of events in the attack that took place in the city of Elad, as well as the efforts being made on the ground to locate the terrorists, were presented.
It was also decided to continue the operational activities of the Israel Police, the Israel Defense Forces and the Shin Bet in the coming hours and days.
"Our enemies have embarked on a murderous campaign against Jews wherever they are. Their goal is to break our spirit, [but] they will fail. We will place our hands on the terrorists and their supportive environment, and they will pay the price. I offer my deepest condolences to the families of those killed," Bennett said.
