The Temple Mount has been reopened to Jews after entry was denied to Jewish visitors until the end of the Ramadan holiday due to pressure from Hamas and the Ra'am party.
Dozens of Jewish faithful have already ascended the mount and hundreds more are expected to make the pilgrimage during the celebration of Independence Day.
