Five hikers from eastern Jerusalem and Shechem who were swept into the waters of the Dead Sea were located and rescued on Tuesday night in a joint operation by the police and the Megilot and Ein Gedi rescue units.
They were treated by Magen David Adom paramedics and are listed in moderate condition.
