The government, lacking a majority, plans to impose new restrictions in Meron on Lag b'Omer via regulation rather than legislation.
Among the restrictions will be those on the time a person may spend at the holy site, the number of people permitted to be there at any one time, and others related to health and safety.
According to the Religious Services Ministry, entrance tickets to Meron will be sold in an "equitable" manner, although details are yet to be published.
