Speaking to the Knesset Channel, Shas MK Moshe Abutbul hinted that his party leader, Aryeh Deri, was involved in persuading MK Idit Silman to leave the coalition, leaving it short of a majority.
"Rabbi Aryeh Deri knows how to manage things extremely well," Abutbul said. "What he wants is to deal a severe blow to the coalition. With regard to the defection of MK Silman, I can tell you that Rabbi Deri was certainly involved."
