The General Security Service uncovered an Iranian network operation which attempted to recruit Israeli citizens in order to gather information and even get easier access to Israeli targets.
The network's operator made contact through a fictitious Facebook profile under the name "Sara Puppi", introducing herself as a young Jewish girl with connections and business in Israel. This fictitious profile gained thousands of members in a very short time - most of them from Israel.
Once someone made contact with "Sara" on Facebook, she would transfer the conversation to WhatsApp.
