Responding to the death threats accompanied with a bullet received by the premier's family, Defense Minister Benny Gantz said that it "crossed a red line."

"Threats on the lives of the family of the Prime Minister cross a red line. Incitement and violence have already led to assassination in the past," Gantz noted.

"One bullet in the post can turn into three bullets shot from a gun. But I am confident that the Police and GSS will lay their hands on those responsible for this. Even during such times of intense debate, we all have an obligation to remember that it is our unity and our resilience that are the basis for our strength," Gantz concluded.
