Mere minutes after Education Minister Yifat Shasha-Biton published the reforms she intends to implement to the matriculation program and the manner of teaching used in high schools, the Teachers' Union issued a statement that stressed that the reforms have not met with their agreement.
"There are no agreements between us and the Education Ministry on the matter of these reforms," the announcement said. "We will use all the means at our disposal in order to prevent damage being done to the teaching of the humanities."
