White House: US likely to impose more sanctions against Russia

White House press secretary Jen Psaki said on Monday that the US is likely to impose more economic sanctions against Russia over its invasion of Ukraine and that “no one is safe from our sanctions”.

Psaki would not comment specifically on a Wall Street Journal report that the US had avoided sanctioning the mother of three of Russian President Vladimir Putin’s children to avoid riling Putin.
