Otzma Yehudit chairman MK Itamar Ben Gvir responded to the decision to declare MK Amichai Chikli a defector from the Yamina party.
"I propose that the Israel Prize be awarded to Amichai Chikli, who remains true to his principles with determination and without fear of a dictatorial rule," said Ben Gvir.
"Everyone knows that the declaration is political. Yamina has at last been declared the most lying and deceitful party. It stole the votes of its voters and used them in a manner that is the exact opposite of what it promised before the election. The public will hold them accountable," he added.
