Minister of Health Nitzan Horowitz reacted to a new strand of the Coronavirus uncovered in individuals arriving at Ben Gurion Airport.
"This indicates the importance of testing at [the entrance to the country]...Unfortunately neither us nor the world as a whole has defeated the virus. The Omicron strain? Yes. Corona? No," he said in an interview to Kan News.
"If new steps for [fighting the virus are required], they will be taken," concluded the minister.
