Gunmen on Saturday opened fire on a vehicle carrying senior Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corp commander Brig-Gen Hossein Almassi, IRNA reported.

Almassi was unhurt, but one of his bodyguards was killed. The attackers were arrested.
