Chairman of Otzma Yehudit MK Itamar Ben Gvir sharply criticized Defense Minister Benny Gantz for assesrting that Homesh would be evacuated in the near future while the community of Evyatar would suffer the same fate at a later time.
"Yamina's presence in the government makes them complicit in the historic crime of expelling Jews from their homes. Every day that passes adds a page to the black book of allowing [the Islamic Movement] to rule the country and if giving in on the Temple Mount, surrendering Damascus Gate, and giving up the South were not enough, now it turns out they...never really intended to settle [the outpost of] Homesh," he said.
Ben Gvir added: "Before the Homesh eviction is forever linked to their names, they must vacate this government."
