Dr. Michal Stein, director of the Infectious Diseases Unit at Safra Children's Hospital, commented on Wednesday evening on the decision to abolish the obligation to wear masks.
"It symbolizes a return to a normal life, but on the other hand I'm a little apprehensive. A year ago we took off the masks, and two weeks later came the Delta wave and brought them back. I recommend anyone at risk to continue wearing a mask," she told Galei Tzahal (IDF Radio) in an interview.
