About 20,000 tourists have already visited the tourist sites in Gush Etzion during Chol HaMoed Passover.
The head of the regional council, Shlomo Ne'eman, said: "Tourism in Gush Etzion continues to thrive and flourish. We are very happy that the people of Israel have chosen to vote again with their feet and come to the variety of hiking, history, and leisure sites we have to offer in Gush Etzion, the tourist capital of Judea and Samaria.
"We hope to host many more travelers here and also to see the tens of thousands of travelers who visited the Gush's heritage sites come back and enjoy next time as well. Happy holiday to the entire house of Israel," Ne'eman said.
