The chairman of the Religious Zionist Party, MK Bezalel Smotrich, asked the attorney general to check whether there was a political intervention by the United Arab List in the release of the rioters on the Temple Mount.
"Their wholesale release and return to the streets of Jerusalem has fatally damaged the deterrence of the rule of law, and even the principle of equality before the law," Smotrich wrote.
