Israel Railways reported that an ATV that apparently tried to cross the tracks without success, and was abandoned on the tracks in the Mazkeret Batya area, contrary to regulations, was hit by a passing train when it remained unmanned. There were no casualties reported and train service was not disrupted by the incident.
