MK Ophir Akunis (Likud) has called on MK Merav Ben Ari to convene the Knesset Public Security Committee urgently in light of the latest violent incidents in the capital city, Jerusalem.
"The deterioration of the situation in Jerusalem, the shocking documentation of attacks on Jews visiting the Old City to pray on the Passover festival - these demand an urgent discussion, even during the festival itself," Akunis stated.
