Responding to today's violence, rioting, and rock-throwing in and around Jerusalem's Old City, Public Security Minister Omer Barlev said that the government will take a strong line against such incidents.
"We view with extreme gravity the disturbances, rock-throwing at buses in Jerusalem, and injuries to passengers," Barlev said. "Police will take a strong line against anyone who dares to use terrorist tactics against Israeli civilians, and I commend our police for their determined stance.
"It is important to continue to grant freedom of [Muslim] worship, but this will not be possible if violence and terrorism prevail," he added.
