The head of "Beyadenu - For the Temple Mount," Tom Nissani, has been organizing visits of Jews to the Temple Mount during the Passover festival and has now commented on the violence and riots at the holy site.

"The State of Israel is now demonstrating for the umpteenth time that the side that uses the most violence comes out on top, and those who obey the law are punished," he said.

"This situation is a dangerous precedent - that on one of the most important Jewish festivals, the festival of freedom, Jews are under unprecedented restrictions regarding ascending to the Mount. The time has come for true freedom for the State of Israel and for the Temple Mount. I congratulate all those Jews who have already succeeded in ascending to the Mount in large numbers despite the restrictions."
