Foreign Minister Yair Lapid commented on the disturbances on the Temple Mount this morning. "This morning's riots on the Temple Mount are an unforgivable act contrary to the spirit of the religions we believe in," Lapid said. "The connection between Passover, Ramadan and Easter points to what we have in common. I want to thank the security forces that acted this morning with sensitivity, determination and in a focused manner, thus enabling the prayers to continue on a regular basis. On the eve of Passover for the Jewish people, the holiday of freedom, all of us, all peoples, today pray for freedom and security, peace and good neighborliness. I call on the leaderships of all of our neighbors to act in the same spirit."
