Israel: 4,704 new COVID-19 infections, 196 seriously ill

Israel's health officials reported 4,704 new cases of the COVID-19 virus over the past day out of a total of 55,973 tests performed nationwide.

196 patients remain hospitalized in serious condition, with 74 on ECMO breathing machines.
