MK Eli Cohen of the Likud commented on Prof. Goldreich's decision to award the cash proceeds from the Israel Prize he received to radical left-wing organizations, B'Tselem and Breaking the Silence:
"Goldreich is the symptom, the root of the problem is the Supreme Court that legitimized a destroyer of Israel. When we [the Likud] return, public trust and order must be restored by changing the composition of the Judicial Selection Committee to represent the people and the overriding clause [of the Basic Law]."
