Public Security Minister Omer Barlev has offered his congratulations to the police officer who was wounded this morning in an operation which ended in the neutralization of a terrorist in Ashkelon.
"You acted with bravery and determination and are deserving of our admiration," Barlev said. "With your own body, you stopped a terrorist and prevented him from perpetrating an attack.
"You and our other police officers are a defensive wall against terrorism and the citizens of Israel are counting on you. I am proud of you."
