Temporary coalition head MK Boaz Toporovsky has held the coalition's first meeting of party heads since the defection of MK Idit Silman, the former coalition head.
"Almost a year ago, we established a coalition which aimed to heal the country," Toporovsky said. "It was a coalition that wanted to unify and not divide and was the first coalition in the country's history to include representatives from across the entire political spectrum.
"Together, we took action against incitement, extremism, damage to the rule of law - and we also strengthened democracy. We must not stop now. We must continue to work together for the benefit of the citizens of Israel."
