Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Justice Gideon Saar commented on the connection of young settlements in Judea and Samaria to the electric grid:
"I welcome the opinion of the Deputy Attorney General (Civil) Adv. Carmit Yulis, who in principle allows young settlements with prospects for legalization to be connected to the electric grid. This is an important move for the citizens of Israel in the young settlements and I hope that the decision will be fully implemented within a reasonable period of time, after Israeli governments in the past refrained from addressing the issue," Saar tweeted.
