Police arrested 44-year-old Haifa resident Zidan Karim on suspicion of committing fraud.
As part of the investigation, it emerged that the suspect impersonated a Shabak (GSS) officer and offered his services to a transportation company, fraudulently receiving hundreds of thousands of shekels from them. The suspect's arrest was extended in the Kiryat Shmona Magistrate's Court until next Friday.
Police are seeking the help of the public to locate more victims.
