In an interview with Israel National News, Otzma Yehudit chairman Itamar Ben-Gvir joined other members of right-wing parties responding to PM Bennett's accusations leveled against them.

"The only reason I didn't serve in the army," Ben-Gvir said in response to Bennett's claims, "was because of Bennett's friends on the Left, who didn't allow me to do it," in an apparent reference to his activity within the far right.

"I've been serving the State of Israel since the age of 14, while Bennett is currently in the service of the Islamic Movement," he added.
