Police Commissioner Yaakov Shabtai will appear this morning (Monday) in the investigation committee for the Meron disaster.
"The Meron incident is a national tragedy. I pushed for the establishment of a commission of inquiry, and I hope that out of the terrible disaster will grow an important lesson for the benefit of all the citizens of the country," he commented.
