IDF soldiers carried out arrest operations in and around the PA city of Jenin Sunday morning, arresting three suspects wanted for their involvement in terrorist activities. Illegal weapons were confiscated during the ensuring search.
Elite units also operated in the PA-controlled city of Tulkarm, detaining two suspected terrorist operatives.
During the operation in Jenin, a Golani patrol detained terrorists who opened fire from a moving vehicle. No casualties were reported among troops.
The suspects were transferred for further questioning.
A total of 20 suspects were rounded up in the overnight raids throughout Judea, Samaria and the Jordan Valley.
