Magnitude 5.7 earthquake hits Taiwan

The United States Geological Survey (USGS) reported a 5.7 magnitude earthquake of near the city of Hengchun, Taiwan on Friday morning.

According to the report, the quake hit off the southern coast of Taiwan at a depth of 10 km (6.21 miles).
