Shas chairman Aryeh Deri says that the cancellation of the daycare reforms is a direct result of the resignation of MK Idit Silman from the coalition.
"Dear MK Idit Silman, I know how hard you have worked all year to repeal the abusive daycare decree. Know that only the noble deed you did yesterday caused Liberman to overcome his hatred of Torah scholars and eliminate it. The students and their families thank you very much," Deri wrote on Twitter.
