Minister of Public Security Omer Barlev toured the security fence in the Adullam area near Beit Shemesh, where he was shown the breaches in the fence, according to Ynet.
Barlev said, "Preventing the passage of hostile elements from Judea and Samaria into Israeli territory is a first-priority security interest." The Minister added: "The completion of the construction of the separation fence along the entire seam line between Judea and Samaria and Israel is necessary not only for the prevention of terrorism in the immediate term but also for the more distant future. I will work to formulate a two-year plan to complete the fence and begin phased construction immediately."
