Khaled, the brother of Fida Kiwan, the Israeli-Arab who has been sentenced to death in the UAE after a half kilogram of cocaine was found in her possession, told Kan News that his sister is on hunger strike.
"They aren't allowing us to see her," he said. "She speaks to our mother on the phone. She's in a cell by herself. We have appealed to the Foreign Ministry for help."
Khaled Kiwan added that his sister has been physically assaulted while in prison.
