    Officer who helped stop Bnei Brak terrorist given certificate

    The Minister of Public Security, Omer Barlev, arrived at the Bnei Brak police station this morning to meet the officers of the motorcycle unit and to present a certificate of recognition to sergeant major A., who stopped the Bnei Brak terrorist last week together with his fallen partner:

    "You responded together with your partner, Sergeant Amir Khoury Z"L, to a shooting attack in Bnei Brak. Your quick response to the incident led to the elimination of the terrorist and thus prevented a greater disaster. Through your actions you guarded human life and thus save many citizens. [Given] in great appreciation for your dedication, determination, and rare courage that you demonstrated, for the security of the State of Israel. Yasher Koach," it was written.
