Minister of Religious Affairs Matan Kahana addressed the 'Chametz crisis' in an interview on Reshet Bet:
"This is an unnecessary affair that started with [Health Minister Nitzan] Horowitz's media campaign. Nothing has changed. In his letter, the health minister stressed that [hospitals] should follow the procedures from last year," Kahana said.
