State witness and former Communications Ministry Director-General Shlomo Filber took the witness stand Monday on his fifth day of testimony at Netanyahu's corruption trial.

Filber referred to the removal of regulatory barriers for Bezeq to merge with YES, saying, "I accelerated processes in the last two months of 2016, I closed the gaps. I made an accelerated process. If I were not the director-general it would have taken three years. I completed a three-year process in a few weeks. This was not done contrary to administrative rules. An acceleration of processes was done."
