The commander of the southern command of the Border Police, Lt. Col. Tomer Eldar, refers to the police's peak preparation due to the recent wave of terror and the month of Ramadan.
"There are places where the border has been breached in my sector, and it is difficult to ensure that we will have officers everywhere all the time. We are expecting a reserve unit of approximately 65 officers, and are doing our best to coordinate with them. The Israel Police is stretched to the limit trying to be everywhere at once," he commented.
