A week after a fire broke out in a Jordan Valley factory, the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Ministry of Health instructed the Jordan Valley Regional Council to evacuate students and staff from the Geffen and Tamar schools in the area.
Higher than usual concentrations of smoke were reported in the area, as employees and residents with heart and lung issues, pregnant women and the elderly were asked to evacuate immediately.
