Health Minister Nitzan Horowitz set out on a trip to Ukraine this morning. Horowitz will arrive in the city of Mostyska tomorrow, where he will meet the Israeli humanitarian delegation, tour a field hospital established by Israel and meet local officials.
"I am going to visit the Kochav Meir Field Hospital...Our humanity is measured in moments like this, and we are committed to continuing to help the Ukrainian people facing brutal attacks by the Russians. I'm proud of our wonderful health teams who have already provided treatment for more than 1,000 refugees. This is the face of Israel's health system," said Horowitz prior to boarding.
"It is also an expression of solidarity with Ukraine, which was attacked because it chose democracy and freedom. This is a struggle of the entire democratic world, which Israel is a part of," he added.
