The rabbi of Tzfat, Rabbi Shmuel Eliyahu, who is currently touring Jewish communities in France, spoke in his weekly lecture of how people he met had tried to emigrate to Israel but returned to France due to difficulty in entering the Israeli culture.
The Rabbi calls for Israel to work to be more welcoming to immigrants.
