Keren Hayesod, the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ukrainian Embassy in Israel and the World Zionist Organization have joined an operation to assist Ukrainian citizens with the delivery of 50 tons of humanitarian and medical equipment collected by Israeli citizens to Ukraine.
The Center for Coordination of Donations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs assisted in coordinating the donations for the benefit of the residents and citizens of Ukraine. The assistance and flight was made possible through the support of the Keren Hayesod and in coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and contacts in Ukraine, based on their needs and individual situations. The assistance to be delivered includes clothing, medical equipment, wheelchairs, hygiene products, and dry food.
Foreign Minister Yair Lapid commented "Today we are sending 50 tons of humanitarian and medical equipment to Ukraine, which is actually 50 tons of goodwill. The equipment was collected and donated by thousands of good Israelis who want to help, and several organizations donated to the mission. "
