Interior Minister Ayelet Shaked met today (Thursday) with her counterpart, British Interior Minister Priti Patel.
At the beginning of the meeting, Interior Minister Patel expressed shock at the terrorist attacks in Israel and offered to promote intelligence cooperation to fight terror. Among other things, the meeting dealt with the issue of immigration, which has been of particular importance due to the war in Ukraine.
Minister Shaked thanked Patel for outlawing Hamas and defining it as a terrorist organization, and subsequently asked her to outlaw the IRGC as well.
Shaked: "Priti is a great friend of the State of Israel and we have a lot of opportunities and issues which will benefit from cooperation. The fight against terrorism, incitement on social networks, balanced immigration policy and the fight against anti-Semitism are common issues to which we are both committed."
