The Ministry of Health reported 12,093 new cases of the COVID-19 virus in Israel over the past day out of a total of 70,771 tests performed.
As of this morning, 265 patients are in serious or critical condition, with 102 on ECMO breathing machines.
The death toll in the country since the pandemic began stands at 10,485.
