Cabinet plans to fight terror with economic sanctions, not closures

Tonight's (Wednesday's) political and security cabinet meeting concluded with a decision to target individuals rather than place collective restrictions upon the Arabs.

It was decided to strengthen the economic deterrence by means of a rapid demolition of terrorists' homes and the revocation of permits for those within the inner circle of terrorists.

At the same time, it was decided not to issue a closure of Samaria and Judea and not to cancel the easing of restrictions previously planned as an accommodation to the Arabs for the month of Ramadan
