The terrorist who carried out the Bnei Brak terror attack was convicted in 2014 of planning a suicide attack. He was sentenced to two and a half years in prison.
The military judge said then: 'I am convinced that he comes from a normative family and that after he is released from prison - his family will work to rehabilitate him and will watch over him. He takes responsibility and regrets his actions.'
